When you are invited, go and take the lowest place so that when the host comes to you he may say, ‘My friend, move up to a higher position.’ Then you will enjoy the esteem of your companions at the table. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 14:10-11

No way to pay is the place blessing you reap

When you are invited, go and take the lowest place so that when the host comes to you he may say, ‘My friend, move up to a higher position.’ Then you will enjoy the esteem of your companions at the table. Sirach 3:17-29, Psalm 68, Hebrews 12:18-24 & Luke 14:1-14

The places in life are established by humility excusing self-desires to fortify the yearnings of charity across all planes of society. We can take seats of honor in heaven Jesus explained by taking the lowest status in the roll call of life in the hardest of places exemplifying the humility of Charity’s Truth seen in the appearance who need the banquet the most. This type of love money can’t buy where the smells of humanity come from the innards of one’s bowels caused by mistakes of addictive lifestyles. Jesus asks us to seek out these and give them more than money or food but conversation and a hug.

We can identify with the contempt of life chained to the excuses of self-pleasure sharing Truth asking for nothing in return. I know the Bible is difficult to understand and the Old Testament seems out of date but the Bible is the testament of the Messiah reaping Salvation for those who believe. The places of honor are given to those who served God’s Purpose of God’s Only Son. It is Jesus Who guides us to the Way of Truth provided by the Word of God. We must take the place where we are needed the most realized only in God’s Word to give us faith wanting to share Christ’s hope by the love He warms you for charity. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to take our place in life according to Your Will LORD. Novena prayers day two for Sabina Romero. Novena prayers day six for my mom. Novena prayers day nine for Laura’s mother Ada in Israel. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 69:33-34, I chant- See, you lowly ones, and be glad; you who seek God, take heart! For the LORD hears the poor, and does not spurn those in bondage.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am yours in Christ,

Ephesians 6:17-20

No way to pay is the place blessing you reap– Luke 14:1-14

Pharisees leading asked Jesus to dine
Arriving quiet Jesus found the time
To tell a Parable I pray in kind
Carefully Him observing places of honor we can find

You’d hate to take a place of status
Removed in shame by words apparatus
Embarrassment your place advancement
Place lowest you take in announcement

Of the host who will share his blessing’s taste
Position higher by your humility’s face
Esteem from others seems such a waste
Jesus reminded to invite the lowly to this place

A banquet of honor not for brother or son
Not the wealthy who bathe on the run
Repayment forgotten by charity’s fun
The blind poor crippled lame person most always shun

No way to pay is the place blessing you reap
Inability to foster love without question we keep
The righteous sharing Truth for those who are weak
Resurrection will repay the deed we intentionally seek

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
