See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to human tradition, according to the elemental powers of the world and not according to Christ. Colossians 2:6-15, Psalm 145 & Luke 6:12-19

Maybe you have felt it as it slipped your attention away enticing your brain while stealing your soul in an instant. Each generation has been faced with the same ongoing selfish desires of the heart carrying on the ideas of others sipping lies consuming each other without even a prayer. We embrace human tradition seeing status even in the midst of holy houses built to hold His presence in a quiet Sacred place. We cannot share in His fullness unless we share in His sacrifice unleashing faith, hope and love for His Charity.

Within charity’s walls are no seductive philosophies or empty human tradition. No, here we find the Deity Immortal Son of Truth. The Power of forgiveness known in the Light of charity’s love. It has no wealth though wealth may increase your abilities wealth cannot replace the genuineness of charity’s need. Rich or poor smart or dumb hungry or fed, empty is the promise of humans while Redemption abides in the surrendered soul of charity’s obedience to Eternal Life in Christ. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to live the Gospel in charity avoiding empty promises of man. Novena prayers day seven for Nadege Robergeau in Haiti. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 78:37-39, I chant- “Their hearts were not constant toward Him; they were not faithful to His Covenant. But God being compassionate forgave their sin; He did not utterly destroy them. Time and again He turned back His anger, unwilling to unleash all His rage. He remembered that they were flesh, a breath that passes on and does not return.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am yours in Christ,

Spectacle Public Despoiled Triumph of Christ– Colossians 2:6-15

Received to walk
Give not talk
Rooted faith taught
Thankfulness sought

Empty captivation avoided
Men’s tradition destroyed it
Worldly powers toiled
Not Christ unspoiled

Deity of Truth’s care
Him fullness we share
Power over all to bare
Faith, hope and love prepared

Covered in Christ
Stripped clean in His Body
Raised in Him without transgressions
Flesh in His Life not shoddy

Sin’s bond has been released to right
Opposed by sin in haste we treat each night
Cross nailing the oppressions to greet our fight

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
