Jesus knew what they were thinking, and said, “Why do you harbor evil thoughts?” Matthew 9:4

On the mountain the LORD will see. Genesis 22:14b

Jesus knew what they were thinking, and said, “Why do you harbor evil thoughts?” Matthew 9:4

Genesis 22:1b-19, Psalm 115 & Matthew 9:1-8

We live in a world where it seems the LORD has allowed us to offer our children as a sacrifice for life its self by the sinful ways of living all around us. It’s as if He is saying, “My people, the world is a sinful place and can destroy your family if you do not follow the ways of the LORD as I have allowed to be told by the Prophets and written in My Word and give your life to the Truth brought to the world by my Son Christ Jesus. I allowed Him to die for your sins instead of you allowing the sin of the world to kill your soul. Repent and have Everlasting Life or follow the ways of self and burn in hell forever.”

There are many of us who see His love in everything we do and will follow His Word to accomplish His Will just as Abraham did when offered up Isaac as the LORD had commanded granting him “descendants as countless as the stars of the sky and the sands of the seashore.” Because He followed His Command the LORD said His descendants would “find blessings” for their lives “because you obeyed my command.” How many of you have found blessings for your lives because you have followed the Way of the LORD? Even in the midst of severe havoc or dismay, can you still say you find blessings in the LORD? Simply by following His Commands?

Do you think Jesus can hear your thoughts in Heaven above? Do you think His ability to know your thoughts and feelings can change the way you act even when you sin? There’s a joy received when we study His Word and find Him healing another such as the paralytic whose sins He forgave commanding him to pick up his stretcher and walk. This joy transcends into our everyday life when we see family, friends and strangers alike become healed because of Jesus Christ. But how much do we need to know of other’s religions to grant us the knowledge to overcome evil thoughts and instill the love of God in their soul?

A close Brother of mine in Christ shared the story of buying religious books in an airport bookstore and he was recommended to buy a book on Scientology by the clerk. After some discussion with her why he wouldn’t buy the book, she explained “it’s good to know how others think before evangelization.” He wrote the following to many of us last night; “She taught me a valuable lesson. When we recruit it’s important to study the candidate and there views of God and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us to chose the right words. All of us know this but I was touched by her. This woman was clearly poor and uneducated in the world’s eyes but in my eyes she was a giant among God’s followers. I was privileged to have a conversation with her as we both said God bless you as we parted. I was humbled because God reveals his truths to the poor of this world and the humble.” Thanks Michael Fusco for sharing. My body is tingling right now with God-bumps from His Sprit of love.

So we ask in prayer, Dear God, we pray today to train our minds in the Ways of the LORD as well as the views of the lost and confused so we may better guide them to understand Your Truth. We pray we can always follow Your Commands with the faith of Abraham. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

Romans 8:28

Spirit led God inspired Christ fed

All Because You Obeyed MY Command

He led his boy to obvious death

Not relenting but following His breath

As he tied him to the wood to die

God stopped him with a tear in His eye

You Abraham have proven your worth

Following my Words since an early birth

Taking your son to offer as a sacrifice

My love for your loyalty granted in Light

Your descendants will be numerous as the stars above

My Promise will guide them to seek only My love

All because you obeyed My Command

On the mountain the LORD will see all Truth beforehand

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
