He was praying in a certain place, and when He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “LORD, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1

Jonah 4:1-11, Psalm 86 & Luke 11:1-4

Humanity has searched ways to pray since the first utterance of life in the bowels of Eden. We’ve exclaimed over-and-over the words “help me” in every situation known to man asking to escape this or that living in our own desires until this or that steals away our ease of life. We ache to hear God tell us how to pray even to this day when God has outlined the world’s Truth in the example given to us in His Son. Jesus taught us to pray in example of living our life daily in a communion with Him. The beauty of this process is given in steps of living a godly life by honoring the One and Only True God in Christ’s Holy Communion with His Father.

He laid out how we are to honor the Father “Who Art in Heaven” with all thanksgiving to what we need daily to survive searching not our own will but the Divine Holy Will of your own life. Here, we come to know forgiveness is a two-way street leading us away from temptation keeping us safe from those who want to hurt you. Jesus came and taught the Lord’s Prayer as the guide we should recite often coming to know myself the Lord ’s Prayer contemplated often during each and every day. The LORD will “teach us to pray” by our utterance of His Kingdom come petition as often daily as He moves you pray in faith, hope and love to be His Charity. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray Jesus will always teach us how to pray. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop. LORD from Psalm 25:21-9, I chant, “Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; I wait for You, O LORD. He guides the humble in righteousness, and teaches the humble His Way.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

Glory LORD the Power Kingdom Prayer we respect– Luke 11:1-4

We all crave to learn what to say
The joys God concerns each and every day
The Disciples asked how they should pray
Jesus taught them the communal way

Persistence is the key to know our Father
Who Art in Heaven where we give all honor
His Name revered and holy what matters
Kingdom of His comes from the Will we monitor

Heaven as is the earth we show
Bread given daily helping our mind grow
Trespasses You forgive every instance to know
Us against trespass we forgive our lips blow

Temptation we ask to keep us in check
Falling not on our face against the deck we inspect
Evil delivered thrown to what the heck
Glory LORD the Power Kingdom Prayer we respect

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
