We hear them preaching in our own language about the marvels of God. Acts 2:11c

Nobody is able to say, ‘Jesus is LORD’ except in the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:3c

After saying this He breathed on them and said: “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:22

Acts 2:1-11, Psalm 104, First Corinthians 12:3-7, 12-13 & John 20:19-23

It’s hard to believe Pentecost is already here as the lives of us all seemingly flies by at a moments notice. No doubt the Apostles felt the same way when they were in the Upper Room huddled in secret looking for a way to share the Truth of God’s Only Son Christ Jesus. What was once secret became the dose of courage that would bring about the “Good News” Jesus preached to the ends of the earth.

As the Wind of Fire swirled around their heads landing on each of them, I can only imagine what it must have been like to first experience the Holy Spirit in each of them as they stood up and began dancing in the Spirit speaking in languages anyone who was near could understand and rejoice “about the marvels of God.” No longer afraid of entering the public’s eye, each of them left the “Upper Room” to live in and share God’s Spirit of Truth.

I’ve noticed more and more that people who seek to share the Love of God in all areas of their life seem to have that ability to live in the Spirit of God garnishing faith, sharing hope and providing God’s love where people expect it less. They approach life differently seeking not an ordinary everyday life of selfish pursuits but one of Godly direction in practice, prayer and preaching.

It’s as if the Spirit of God rests on their shoulder directing them daily in the never-ending bravery, voice and love of God to encourage, educate and entice the lives of people lacking Christ’s faith to live in a state of God’s Promised Joy. People sometimes ask me how to seek this bond with God’s Spirit in thought, action and deed.

I often will comment that living God’s Will is an individual thing that must come from the heart of your own “Free Will” seeking a personalized way of living for God and God alone. Begin in practice of God’s Word daily lifting you in prayer often sharing the Good News to anyone, anytime and anywhere. Remember to always be faithful to the biblically-based principles afforded you by the Word of God. You will find His Truth beginning to work on your heart to accomplish the directives the Holy Spirit will share with you and you alone. Be ready to know God’s Joy in every area of your life. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to find the Spirit of God’s Truth in every corner of our lives. We pray live in the Holy Spirit’s courage of faith, hope and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Holy Spirit is the Truth no one can part- First Corinthians 12:3-7

If you really want say

Jesus is LORD each day

His Spirit of Truth will stay

In your soul to eternally obey

For all kinds of gifts come from One Spirit

Different forms of service to live in It

All from the same LORD Who gives True witness

The manifestation of the Spirit for your life’s benefit

Just as the body have many parts

All part of the same body of God’s smarts

Anyone can receive it that has a beating heart

We were all given to drink of one Spirit to start

The Holy Spirit is the Truth no one can part

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
