A joyful heart is the health of the body, but a depressed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22

For to me sighing comes more readily than food; my groans well forth like water. For what I feared overtakes me; what I dreaded comes upon me. I have no peace nor ease; I have no rest, for trouble has come! Job 3:24-26

Job 3:1-26, Proverbs 17:18-22 & Luke 9:51-56

The trouble of life will come more by expectation than preparation for in what we dwell on will appear in the depression we set upon ourselves to wallow in by dwelling on self disappointment. Learning to take the time every day and mind-up your body and spirit to live in Godly ways seeing Christ’s Smile of Salvation across your lips to shudder the pain or worry of the unseen yet captured by the Spirit of Truth.

No matter our diligence of being positive something or someone will try and curse your wisdom as erroneous laughing aloud when something unfortunate occurs. Christ was undeterred when He entered the Samaritan village on the way to Jerusalem to die for the sins of humanity. He rebuked evil’s advance and allowed the unthinkable in such a raw mind-boggling abuse to happen that was unstoppable as the Will of God. Trouble comes and goes in Truth that a joyful heart can be undeterred by in Christ. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray for the joy of the LORD in all circumstances. We pray for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Proverbs 17:21 I chant; “Whoever conceives a fool has grief; the father of a numskull has no joy.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Revelation 12:7-12, Proverbs 17:16-17 & John 1:47-51

We have a Brother “born for the time of adversity” allowing us such peace, passion and purpose to pursue all things righteous celebrating the Truth of Salvation heard by the Angels of God as the voice that has Power and Dominion over the evil one who accuses all before the Father day and night. Evil can and will be rebuked by God’s anointed simply by living in practice, prayer and proclamation of breathing for the Gospel of love.

The peace we have comes from the community we build around us liking faith, hope and love as something we engage not waiting to come upon us by tragedy or failure. No, take upon the Yoke of Salvation as the everything you do in life whispering Truth in the glances of proclamations you do in every moment your soul shares. The wicked pursue only rebellion, and a merciless messenger is sent against them. If you return evil for good, evil will not depart from your house. Proverbs 17:11 & 13

When the just turn away from justice to do evil and die, on account of the evil they did they must die. But if the wicked turn from the wickedness they did and do what is right and just, they save their lives; since they turned away from all the sins they committed, they shall live; they shall not die. Ezekiel 18:26-28

Ezekiel 18:25-28, Proverbs 17:11-15 & Matthew 21:28-32

We find confusion when we think of turning away from sin because we think there’s no way God will forgive us for what we’ve done in sin just as much as the realization of what we’re doing in any current self-indulgence that separates us from giving God our all. Being wicked might not seem to you as wickedness using self-reliance instead of exercising the Truth in being Christ-reliant taking upon yourself the shield of Salvation giving you the smile of faith, hope and love of peace in and through the Word of God.

Our confusion finds understanding by the practice, prayer and preaching of love’s Eternal Life leaning on Jesus as the rest we deserve in the blood, sweat and tears of living the works of charity’s all. Everything we do can and will give you the peace of Christ to sin no more and salivate in righteousness. You will realize this by His daily call in every breath we take given by God and witnessed taken away by God. Turn from lies and you won’t die before you breathe no more and the messenger merciless knocks on your door. In Christ, we never part from returning evil with good living in love. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 11:9–12:14, Proverbs 17:6-10 & Luke 9:43-45

To fear God is to rejoice in His Commandments being not afraid or embarrassed of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ never denying but obliging every thing and every one by fostering friendships that never judge qualities hidden, whether good or bad to rejoice in Truth Eternally. Those who gossip ruin these bonds of tenderness forgoing Truth’s need to overlook selfish acts of lust, whether right or wrong to encourage faith, hope and love.

When we have faith, we teach how to practice living for God every day experiencing His Word first-hand in every environment or thoughts your path will take you. When we live in hope, we mimic Christ in prayer showing others openly how to worship our God in public as much as in private in deeds or in detriment by our hand or by others. Whoever mocks the poor reviles their Maker; whoever rejoices in their misfortune will not go unpunished. Proverbs 17:5

I recognized that there is nothing better than to rejoice and to do well during life. Moreover, that all can eat and drink and enjoy the good of all their toil—this is a gift of God. I recognized that whatever God does will endure forever; there is no adding to it, or taking from it. Thus has God done that He may be revered. What now is has already been; what is to be, already is: God retrieves what has gone by. Ecclesiastes 3:12-15

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15, Proverbs 17:1-4 & Luke 9:18-22

To Revere God is to revere life in all its capacities for Truth forgoing not the need to live right in the call of faith, hope and love of charity. Ultimately, God will judge all according the works of each hand bringing to light every aspect of our own will recognizing in each of us the response we gave in the surrender we took our time to complete. Here, we are liable in our own way to reacting to inclusivity by goodwill in feeding God’s love to the lost and lonely as much as the famined and fortuned.

Once you fall off the edge, the love of God envelopes your very soul and there is nothing more you can do except become obedient in the practice, prayer and proclamation of this charity in every aspect of our life. Whenever this time occurred for you was God’s time to instill in you the Way of Salvation being afraid not of the Name of Jesus acting for justice, peace and morality judging not the sinner to acknowledge the sin can be overcome in the joy and peace of Truth. Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by a life that is just. Proverbs 16:31

For in much wisdom there is much sorrow; whoever increases knowledge increases grief. Ecclesiastes 1:18

Ecclesiastes 1:1-18, Proverbs 16:26-33 & Luke 9:7-9

The sorrow of wisdom reflects the peace of the just persuaded by faith, hope and love to encircle charity’s Truth. We see this sorrow and pain when we let go of another knowing in our heart we can never hear their voice or ever feel their heartbeat in the breath that will linger in our minds forever. Yes, this wisdom brings the just gray hair in the instant God envelopes you in His Spirit feeling such compelling to live in charity’s joy and grief.

We sense the hurt in feelings of peace knowing the experience is teaching us something about insight when dealing with the lost or lonely giving moments of love helping to sustain the grief. Sometimes it may seem too overwhelming forcing us to react in ways we thought our desires would never allow. It is the crown of glory shared with sorrowful aching people distributing the goodwill of Christ’s Reconciliatory love.

Maybe you’re feeling it still from the weekend of a retreat wondering how you too can walk this walk of Salvation. It begins each day with the practice God calls us all to by studying His Word to the degree of enjoying casual reading often pondering the hope we must lead our life in prayer by exacting words in proclamation when called upon by God’s Holy Will. I think we’d all agree that Mary acted on a devout life of faith, hope and love of family finding in Joseph the man who said yes as well to the keep sake of life’s Holy Family.

Imagine what Joseph would have had to ponder taking into his home a woman who bore the child who would see perfection in the poor and deformed searching the horizon every moment of every day in faith, hope and love of charity. The Word of God became flesh in his every waking moment teaching yet learning from the Creator of life. Proverbs 16:13-16 & Luke 8:16-18

We learn to live in secret if we prefer not to share the life of faith, hope and love obscuring ourselves from our neighbors as much as family to normally sin on our own preferably making it secret yet obvious to so many others. When we sin, we lose wisdom opportunities that do seem more precious than gold as understanding is as bright as polished silver in the brain of the person taking the straight and narrow path.

Learning to remain obvious for the LORD allows many things to happen in wisdom moments glittering your persona with the sparkle of gold and not that of the flash and flair of societal secular sensations usually fleeting squirting on our own steps of excess. The human heart plans the way, but the LORD directs the steps. Prov 16:9

For to me life is Christ, and death is gain. If I go on living in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. And I do not know which I shall choose. I am caught between the two. I long to depart this life and be with Christ, [for] that is far better. Philippians 1:21-23

Thus, the last will be first, and the first will be last. Matthew 20:16

Isaiah 55:6-9, Proverbs 16:9-12, Philippians 1:20-27 & Matthew 20:1-16

We get lost in our human desires forgoing the Way of the LORD for the way of the flesh wishing for things instead of taking the time to practice, pray and proclaim the Truth of living fruitful for Him. Finding the Way of Christ does take practice of living the Word of God even in the midst of anger or pain we as He must forgive and find peace for Eternal living in faith, hope and love of charity.

No matter what point a person makes this decision of accepting Christ as your Savior you must confess with your lips the need for Baptism and indeed sin no more. This repentance might come early for some or later for others but God tells us the first will be last as the last rides in for the first time the feeling of Salvation. He will call your name and show you His Spirit that will garner a surrender of living obedient for the love of prolific endeavors that call us home in peace.

We all may struggle to get to this point in life where we allow God to take our last breath instead of taking our own for many times in the anguish of financial woes combined with illness from disease humans sometimes rush this inevitable departure from living. God calls us to sanctify life at every stage asking our fruitful labor be made to help those who struggle with this decision based on lack of support from family, friends and community. When we give our all to God First, we make others see His Light instilling freedom from the wrong that sadly too many times take the life of a friend. Amen.
